Recently at the White House in Washington D.C a security breach Omar Gonzalez, 42 scaled a fence on Friday night and got into the White House with over 800 rounds of ammunition in his car.  Earlier in July he was also stopped, but not arrested in August walking by the white house with a hatchet in his waistband, federal prosecutor David Mudd told a federal judge. The incident with Gonzalez follows a number of security lapses involving the president's security detail.  White House fence jumpers are not uncommon last month a toddler squeezed through the White House gates. But an intruder getting into the building caused concern and critics said the lapse could encourage deadly attackers.
It's scary to think someone can get so close to the White House before getting stopped.  The place were the president lives and his family should be better protected.  Its good to here that security is now trying to build a better fence around the White House.  Hopefully like the article said terrorists dont get any ideas from this.  Clearly this man was going to keep trying to get into the white house so thankfully he has been arrested.

Recently in Blackstone, Massachusetts,  three dead infants were found in a gruesome house. Erika Murray lived in the now-condemned single family home with her boyfriend, Ray Rivera, and the couple's children. The four living children that the state removed from the home on August 28, Murray told investigators that Rivera, 38, only knew about two of them. The other two, a 3 year old and an infant, according to the article were apparently not only born in secret but lived hidden from their father around mountains of garbage under the same roof. Now, days later, as investigators continue to search through what the Worcester County District Attorney's Office describes as the home's "deplorable conditions, massive insect infestation, mounds of used diapers and feces the case will build for court.
It's unbelievable what crazy things go on in the world.  Especially so close to where we live.  I picked this article to talk about because recently this past weekend I was at a child's birthday party in Blackstone.  Only a mile away from this woman's house.  When we passed it there were candles on the ground for the babies that died and many news crews and police.  It was shocking to see the house that such awful things have happened inside. Its hard to believe these children lived like this, and how did the boyfriend not know that whole time what was going on?

This article is about an incident that occurred in worcester regarding a school bus on Wednesday afternoon that resulted in an alleged assault on the driver.  Police and school officials continue to investigate the incident. Police were called to the area of Harlem Street and Perry Avenue at 3:15 p.m on Wednesday. The investigation reveals that the bus driver was attempting to allow the kindergarten students off of the bus first but parents were impatient and forced their way onto the bus and removed their children. Profanities were yelled and one 16 year old female punched the bus driver in the face. Superintendent Melinda Boone said the driver was following  school policy. Police continue to investigate wether or not the bus driver was following protocol,
This article was interesting to read because it was so close to home. It's weird to see such strange things happen in Worcester.  Things deffiantly got out of hand regarding the situation. I think the parents over reacted. Violence should not have occurred especially since little kids were around. Also I thought it was strange Boone completely sided with the bus driver. And forgot how scared the kids and parents must of been. Hopefully this kind of thing will not happen again.

I noticed in previous yearbooks some things I liked and some I didn't.  I didn't really like how in past years pages don't look very organized.  In the 2014 yearbook I didn't like the background of the pages with everyone's senior pictures.  It was hard to read peoples captions because it was too much of a dark background.  But I did like how the 2014 yearbook had their baby pictures next to their senior pictures.  I want our yearbook to be neat and well put together.
